Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GØRBAR handles when you use the service. GØRBAR is a shared task-list app for personal and collaborative work.

This is an implementation-accurate product draft and should be reviewed by the appropriate human or legal owner before it is treated as a final policy.

When you sign in with email or a supported provider such as Google, the authentication service handles the account information needed to identify you and maintain your session. This can include your email address and the basic profile information supplied by the provider.

We use this information to authenticate you, associate you with your lists, support invitations, and provide access to the service.

GØRBAR stores the lists and items you create, including item text, notes, links, ordering, completion state, collaboration details, and recurring timer settings. Shared content is available to the collaborators who have access to that list.

This content is stored and synchronized through the Supabase-backed service so it can be used across your signed-in devices and with collaborators.

The web app may store session, list, and queued offline-mutation data in browser storage on your device. This supports offline use and synchronization when a connection is available again. Local data can remain on a device until the browser or app storage is cleared.

The service and its infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and measure performance. This can include information supplied by your browser, device, network, hosting, authentication, and performance-monitoring services.

We use performance monitoring where it is enabled to understand whether the app is working reliably. We do not describe data beyond what the relevant service and configuration actually provide.

Information handled by GØRBAR is used to:

• authenticate accounts and maintain signed-in access;
• store, synchronize, and share lists and items;
• deliver invitation and account-related email;
• support offline operation, reliability, and security; and
• respond to support, privacy, or security requests.

GØRBAR uses service providers for authentication, Supabase database and realtime services, hosting, invitation email delivery, and performance monitoring. They process information in connection with providing those services.

We do not use your lists for advertising. Apart from collaborators you choose to share with and the providers needed to operate GØRBAR, we do not present your content as generally public.

Access to lists is controlled by the account and collaboration permissions used by the service. No online service can promise perfect security, so please protect your account and contact us if you notice suspicious activity.
